Vampire Weekend have announced details of their second free show this week.
With 'Contra' currently slogging it out with Florence & The Machine for the number one UK album, the band will play an outdoor gig at Somerset House in London on Thursday (January 14).
The New York foursome will play above the ice rink in the Somerset House courtyard at 5.30pm.
No tickets are required and entrance is completely free – fans are just being told to turn up and wrap up warm. As an extra incentive, the first 50 through the gate will be able to ice skate for free.
Later on Thursday, Vampire Weekend play a sold-out show at Kingston’s New Slang club night before their free gig at Rough Trade East on Friday.
