Santigold Producing Her 'Band Idols' Devo

Santigold has teamed up with New Wave legends Devo to produce some of their new material.

Currently working on her second studio album, the star - real name Santi White - admitted she was overwhelmed with the whole experience.

She enthused to Paste Magazine: "It was amazing. They're my band idols. Them and the Smiths. I made them pull out the red hats and pose for a picture."

Sadly there's no information about when the collaboration will see the light of day.

Santigold is expected to release the follow-up to her debut album 'Santogold' later this year.
