Rihanna has announced a UK arena tour for May 2010.

Fresh from the release of 'Rated R' last month, the multi-million selling singer has unveiled an eight date jaunt.

Tickets for the shows go on sale via the Gigwise Gig Tickets section at 9am this Friday (December 11).

She plays the following shows:

Birmingham LG Arena – May 7
Liverpool Echo Arena – 8
London O2 Arena – 10
Sheffield Arena – 13
Nottingham Arena – 14
Manchester MEN Arena – 16
Newcastle Arena – 17
Glasgow SECC – 19
