Liam Maher, the singer of early nineties baggy band Flowered Up, has died.
Details of his death remain sketchy, but a report from the band's record label confirming the sad news.
Formed in Camden in 1990, Flowered Up released one Madchester-esque album 'A Life With Brian' in 1991 before their split three years later.
The group scored four top 40 hits in the UK with 'Take It', 'It's On', 'Weekender' and a cover of the Right Said Fred track 'Don't Talk Just Kiss'.
The group were set to reform in 2007 but their plans fell through.
