Amy Winehouse should release her third album by 2010, her record label has confirmed.
Island Records co-president Darcus Beese said that the 26-year-old has been recording the follow-up to the acclaimed 'Back To Black' in “fits and starts” but it should come into fruition next year.
He tells the BBC: "I've heard a couple of song demos that absolutely floored me. Hopefully we'll have her album next year."
Wino of course has had a turbulent time of it since the release of 'Back To Black', becoming a high profile media figure cursed with drug addictions, erratic behaviour and poor health.
As previously reported, Winehouse will make her TV return this coming Saturday on Strictly Come Dancing where she will provide backing vocals for her goddaughter Dionne Bromfield.
