Following their low key warm-up show at the Echoplex on Friday, Thom Yorke's new band performed the first of two sold-out shows at the Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles last night (October 4).
The show saw Yorke, Flea, Nigel Godrich, Mauro Refosco and Joey Waronker perform the Radiohead man's solo album, 'The Eraser', in its entirety for the opening part of the set.
Yorke then returned for a solo, acoustic encore which saw him perform Radiohead song 'Super Collider' as well as two completely new songs – 'Lotus Flower (Moon Upon A Stick)' and 'Open The Floodgates'.
The full band then returned to the stage for 'Paperbag Writer' (which Yorke dedicated to Colin Greenwood in the crowd) and 'Judge, Jury and Executioner', the alternate name for the 'Hail To The Thief' song 'Myxomatosis', but a fresh track.
The five-piece supergroup closed the set with Yorke's new songs 'The Hollow Earth' and 'Feeling Pulled Apart By Horses'.
