Leonard Cohen collapsed on stage during a performance in Valencia on Friday (September 18).
The 74-year-old singer, who turns 75 on Monday, fainted mid-way through a rendition of ‘Bird On A Wire’.
He was taken to hospital suffering from a stomach complaint, but was released on Saturday morning, according to his record company.
Video footage shows Cohen kneeling over sideways during a saxophone solo, before the concert was halted and band members rushed to his side.
Cohen is still scheduled to perform his final concert in Spain at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona on Monday.
The veteran singer, whose hits include ‘Hallelujah’ and ‘Suzanne’, has toured frequently over the last 18-months.
