Jay-Z has claimed that his next album will be his most experimental to date.
The rapper, who releases his latest effort 'The Blueprint 3' on September 14, said he was willing to sacrifice chart success on his next studio effort.
"My next album, which I'm working on now - that's exclusive, no one knows that - is gonna be the album that really ... it's not gonna be a number one album,” he said.
“That's where I'm at right now. I wanna make the most experimental album I ever made.”
As previously reported on Gigwise, 'The Blueprint 3' leaked online in its entirety earlier this week.
But the rapper insisted that he wasn't concerned that fans were sharing the record ahead of its release, and told them to “enjoy” it.
