Radiohead have today admitted that the song 'These Twisted Words', which emerged online last week, is indeed them and have given the Nigel Godrich produced song away online for free.
Posting on the official Radiohead website guitarist Jonny Greenwood said, “We've been recording for a while, and this was one of the first we finished. We're pretty proud of it.
"There's other stuff in various states of completion, but this is one we've been practicing, and which we'll probably play at this summer's concerts. Hope you like it. ”
The release of 'These Twisted Words' comes with official artwork and will do nothing to quell the rumours of a Radiohead EP release currently doing the rounds.
Internet message boards were a buzz over the weekend about a release entitled 'Wall Of Ice' and visitors to www.wallofice.com are now being redirected to Radiohead's website.
The band headline the Reading and Leeds festivals on August bank holiday weekend.
