Former X Factor winner Leona Lewis is to launch her own fragrance.
Lewis has signed a deal with the German company LR to release the self-titled perfume, which has been ethically produced.
The singer joins a growing list of pop stars, including Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, with their own fragrance.
“I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to work on such an exciting project,” the singer said in a promotional video.
“I am passionate about what I do and it is important for me to give the best I can to my fans all of the time.”
A source told the Sun newspaper that Lewis, a passionate animal rights campaigner and vegetarian, had gone to great lengths to ensure the product would be ethical.
“She has had a big hand in helping to create the fragrance and the design of the bottle and now she can’t wait to see it in the shops,” the source told the newspaper.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Lewis announced last week that she is to release her first autobiography this October, at the age of 23.
