Gym Class Heroes frontman Travis McCoy has claimed that his girlfriend, singer Katy Perry, saved his life.
McCoy credited Perry with lifting him out of a dark period in his life two years ago when he had reached “rock bottom”.
“I called Katy who was in LA at the time and said to her, 'Do you mind coming out and keeping me company, I'm not in a good state of mind right now',” he told the Mirror newspaper.
"And I honestly think had she not come - I really don't think I would be here right now. Without even talking, she just listened. I truly believe that saved my life."
As previously reported on Gigwise, Perry will play two dates in the UK next Spring at Manchester's Academy 2 on February 25th and London's Koko the following day.
Tickets are on sale now and available through Gigwise here. Alternatively, you can call our ticket hotline on 0871 230 1098 for more information.
