Jane’s Addiction is set to play their first public reunion show in 17 years tonight (October 23) in Los Angeles.
Announcing the news on both Dave Navarro and Eric Avery’s blogs on Tuesday, the $5 tickets have already sold out for the performance tonight at the 390-capacity La Cita Bar.
The band will be playing “roughly” 10 songs and the performance will start at 11PM.
“We have been rehearsing and we have been sounding really solid,” said Eric Avery on his official blog.
“We never know what the future has in store for us; especially with this band. But, at least right now Jane’s Addiction has a future that one would have to call somewhat promising.”
The last public gig the original line up performed was in 1991 in Hawaii.
