Leeds Festival 2008: Gigwise Photo Review With Metallica, Rage Against The Machine

As 80,000 people partied down south, another 80,000 festivalgoers had the party started early in Leeds last weekend, for the annual Leeds Festival.

After a small performance from the Pigeon Detectives on Thursday evening, the festival got underway properly with a headline slot from Metallica on Friday night.

And in addition to Saturday's headliners Rage Against The Machine and Sunday's top draw The Killers, the event also showcased some of the best new talent around.
