As reported earlier, in what could be the biggest musical event of the year, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones performed two Led Zeppelin songs with Foo Fighters at Wembley Stadium last night (June 7).
The rock titans joined the Foos during the encore to rattle through thumping renditions of ‘Ramble On’ and ‘Rock n Roll’ - on the later song drummer Taylor Hawkins switched roles with Dave Grohl.
Embracing the occasion, Grohl told the crowd as Page and Jones joined him onstage: “Tonight this is gonna be the show that we’re gonna be talking about for the next 20 years!"
For those of you who weren’t fortunate enough to be in the 86,000 strong crowd, here’s a collection of Youtube clips of the event.
