More Michael Jackson Michael Jackson has successfully refinanced his Neverland property in California, according to his lawyer.
The 2,200 acre estate would have been auctioned next week had Jackson failed to pay three months of arrears worth $25 million.
The pop star’s lawyer, L Londell McMillan, said yesterday (March 14th) that Jackson had secured a "confidential" agreement with the Fortress Investment Group.
He added: "Neverland and MJ are fine.”
Jackson brought Neverland in 1987 at the height of his fame, turning the land into a theme park and zoo.
He has not lived at the property, however, since he was acquitted of child molestation charges in 2005.
New photos published earlier this week appeared to show the amusement park and zoo in a state of disrepair.
