Amy Winehouse slurred her way through her performance at the MTV European Music Awards in Munich tonight (November 1st).

Winehouse was making her first major TV appearance since she was arrested for drugs possession along with her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, in Norway earlier this month.

Wearing a short blue dress with a thick black belt, Winehouse looked nervous throughout her performance of ‘Back To Black’ – the title track from her critically acclaimed second album.

Singing out of time, her near inaudible rendition of the song meant that the huge German crowd gave her a muted round of applause as she left the stage.

Winehouse was a last minute addition to tonight’s show and, contrary to earlier speculation, she was not joined by Pete Doherty for the performance.

Both Winehouse and her husband were fined £350 by Norwegian authorities who found them in possession of marijuana at a hotel in Bergen on October 19th.
