Everyone's favourite Vermont Socialist Congressman Bernie Sanders turned up to Joe Biden's inauguration this week wearing a very fetching pair of mittens. Sitting to the side in his fold-out chair, the image of Sanders staying warm in his very casual inauguration look has caused a sensation.

The meme has spread like wildfire, as memes do, and the image of Bernie has found its way onto album covers too. Everyone's in on it - even the artists themselves. Blondie posted an image of a Bernie-bombed self-titled line-up while Ice-T tweeted a picture of his Power album newly adorned with the senator. "Oh shit.... Bernie is the Coldest" he wrote.
