More names have been added to Wakefield's vibrant city festival Long Division, including The Unthanks and Peggy Sue. Roddy Woomble - frontman of Idlewild - will also appear, as well as Leeds post-punk outfit Mush.

They join the already-announced She Drew The Gun, Brix & The Extricated and Big Joanie, plus Abbie Ozard, Low Hummer and Rev Magnetic.

The exciting festival - a crucial date in the British festival calendar - takes place across some seriously cool converted spaces in Wakefield, including the Old Market this June.

Sunderland lads The Futureheads will bring their fresh set to the main stage with a celebration of their own: in 2020, it'll be fifteen years since their debut album.

More standouts on the bill include Beans On Toast and Allusinlove.

Long Division has a fond space in Gigwise's heart. Last year, we called it "one of the most anticipated dates on the festival calendar", adding that it "epitomise Wakefield’s revitalised scene."

Long Division takes place from 4-7 June 2020 in venues across Wakefield.
