More about:

Sheffield's city festival Tramlines has announced its 2020 line-up. Stone Roses legend Ian Brown will top the bill, plus Catfish and the Bottlemen and geezers Madness. Also on the bill are 2020 festival stalwarts The Kooks, DMA's, Dizzee Rascal, The Hives, The Fratellis.

More names announced include Twisted Wheel, Sister Sledge and La Roux: a lot of the same ones you're getting at your other medium-sized festivals in the UK this year. At least the new talent is great: The Orielles play on the Sunday, while Lucia & the Best Boys play the Saturday and Patawawa and The Blinders take the Friday.

Plus, there's more names to come.

Once again, Tramlines will take place at Hillsborough Park in Sheffield and will spread across the city as artists and fans fan out to find food and vintage clothes (try Mooch on Division Street).

More names on the bill: The Pigeon Detectives, The Lathums, The Magic Gang, Lauran Hibberd, Sheafs, The Snuts, Easy Life.

Tramlines will take place 31 July to 2 August 2020 in Sheffield.
