Fresh from their set at Green Man Festival this weekend, LA-dreamers The Growlers are presenting their brand new single ‘Foghorn Town.’

With the vibe of a far-off, curiously inviting fairground ride, The Growlers have nailed slightly sinister indie rock with their newest release. The most recent sound takes on a more spun out angle on The Growlers’ SoCal rock.

It’s the second single from their forthcoming sixth album Natural Affair, out this autumn on Beach Goth Records. Title song and first single ‘Natural Affair’ also benefits from the ghostly touch of the new Growlers sound.

In a press release, vocalist Brooks Nielsen said, “I had to leave our scene in Dana Point…it was a bunch of drug addicts telling us we’d never make it. The song takes a turn from the dark side to an opposite perspective…the sound of us getting out of there – of finding your way to a better place.“

You can see The Growlers on the UK leg of their 54-date, seven-country world tour at the following:

21 - London, Roundhouse
22 - Manchester, Albert Hall
23 - Glasgow, SWG3
25 - Dublin, Button Factory
