It's a classic Feeder single

Feeder have today unveiled the video to their new single ‘Daily Habit’. Watch it first on Gigwise below.

Plucked from their forthcoming album Tallulah (out 9 August), the powerful cut is a must listen for any Feeder fan. Hearing Grant Nicholas’ evocative, melodic vocal underpinned by catchy garage pop rhythm guitar, powerful lead, and a pounding rhythm section is a feast for the ears.

The video does well to keep the life affirming feel of the track and is suggestive of this as a great cut to play on their forthcoming tour. The band have just announced new August instore dates that you can read below.

According to a track break down on their Youtube channel, the lyrics are inspired by singer Grant Nicholas going out around his North London home and spending too much money on coffee everyday and observing the interesting characters roaming the streets.

Meanwhile, the songs for the album are said to have been written on acoustic guitar by Grant Nicholas, and recorded in his home studio with Tim Roe.

“It’s a classic Feeder record,” says Nicholas in a press release. “I just write the songs which feel natural to me, and I have a vision of each of them in my mind like a short film. I wanted to make a lot of the songs really adaptable. I didn’t want them to have be massively produced, I wanted them to also work in a stripped-back way.”

The ‘Tallulah’ tracklisting is:

‘Youth’
‘Blue Sky Blue’
‘Daily Habit’
‘Fear Of Flying’
‘Rodeo’
‘Tallulah’
‘Shapes And Sounds’
‘Guillotine’
‘Kyoto’
