More about: FEET
The new video from FEET ticks every metaphorical box you’d ever want in a Western-style film. Shootouts with a sheriff? Check. Cowboy hats and boots? Check. Close-up shots of narrowed eyes? Check. Plastic kettles and blue liquid….check?
This brilliantly weird accompaniment for new cut ‘Ad Blue’ embodies the band’s newfound experimental and conceptual tendencies. Speaking about the video, the band comment: “Kettles, blue liquid, dancing, whilst also converging with a more general wild west theme about oil men, (was) an idea that Jeep (frontman George) has been juggling around his bizarre head for a while. This sort of responsibility is beneficial for the rest of us because if the video does nothing for us we’ll be happy to send the corporate hounds in his direction.”

What’s more, FEET have also dropped details of their debut album What’s Inside Is More Than Just Ham landing 2 August 2019 via Clapped Records. Joined by Cam Blackwood (Jamie T, London Grammar, Billie Marten) in the studio, their debut is set to bolster their formidable ones-to-watch reputation, after their recent release ‘English Weather’ reached the top 10 in the singles vinyl chart. This debut will surely collate their bright and vivacious songwriting into an exciting, experimental and effervescent package.
Renouncing ‘traditional’ song structures, and adding a more rhythmic, danceable element to their sound, ‘Ad Blue’ is rooted in experimentation. They add: “It’s also technically about making unsuspecting cups of tea with a diesel additive as a H2O substitute. We all have bad days”. How very British of them…
Fresh off their first ever sold-out headline tour, they have developed an appetite for gigging and have since announced that they’re back on the road supporting Honeyblood throughout May, followed by a packed summer of festivals including The Great Escape, Dot to Dot, Boardmasters, All Points East, Isle of Wight, Truck, Y Not & many more to be announced.
