Johnny Marr, Public Service Broadcasting and a whole host of other names have today (18 March) been announced for Truck Festival. Also heading to Hill Farm in July are The Japanese House, Mallory Knox and Anteros.
Elsewhere on the line-up Pirate Studios and This Feeling have teamed up to curate a stage that includes the likes of Red Rum Club, Saint Agnes, Sugarthief, The Van T’s and the previously Gigwise premiered Estevans.
The new names join the previously announced headliners Foals, Wolf Alice and Two Door Cinema Club.
In an over-excited statement, Truck organiser Matt Harrap said, “We’re incredibly excited to finally share a huge wave of artists to our bumper Truck Festival 2019 line-up! Indie royalty Johnny Marr will be making his first trip to Hill Farm, with a setlist full of iconic Smiths’ material and awesome solo work, it is truly amazing to have one of music’s all-time greats to Hill Farm. I can’t wait for Public Service Broadcasting to close the Market Stage on Friday night - they’ve always delivered a mind-blowing show and to have them back for the third time this year is going tobe awesome! As we say every time, the whole team are truly overwhelmed with the response to our line-up so far, with 75% of all Weekend Tickets sold, we really don’t recommend hanging around! It will be the biggest and best Truck ever.”
