BLANc has unveiled new track ‘Chameleon’. The first offering since 2018’s Only One EP, lyrically the song is “a study on having to face something and the emotions that process can elicit,” as White sings on the opening line, “Come on chameleon, where’s the wisdom gone?” Atmospheric Americana tinges swirl around the instrumental while Will’s aforementioned introspective words usher to the forefront of the track.

Will has welcomed a host of guests on the song, including Stereophonics drummer Jamie Morrison and violinist Gillian Maguire, as well as rising singer Nilüfer Yanya, whose backing vocals have been lent to B-Side ‘Foreign Cities’.

For the uninitiated, Will has been exercising his musicianship for years as a touring member of The Maccabees, and released his debut track ‘Only One’ under the BLANc pseudonym in 2017. An EP followed in 2018, and ‘Chameleon’ is the singer’s first release since.

‘Chameleon’ is set to be released on YALA! Records on 01 March 2019.
