Bee Bee Sea have shared the video for the track 'I Shouted', taken from their album Sonic Boomerang, exclusively on Gigwise. Check it out below.

Filmed in their hometown of Castel Goffredo in Northern Italy, the atmospheric video, shot to look like an old, crackling film, takes you on a playful, punk tour around this ancient city close to Lake Garda. For fans, it's rewarding to see the spaces that made the band who they are.

The track shows the band carry a similar knack of melding unhinged garage rock instrumentation with rousing earworm melodies with The Black Lips. There's a balance of moderately frenzied solely instrumental passages and reverb-laden vocal-led parts, reflecting the band's quality as songwriters and tight rhythm players.

Bee Bee Sea first came on to our radar after a scintillating set at Portland's Pickathon festival and we've since been pleased to see they’re continuing to make stake their claim as an essential festival band by landing a slot at tastemaking festival MENT this weekend.

In terms of club shows they've played with ldles, Metz, Warmduscher, Jacuzzi Boys, The Parrots and The KVB.

The band formed in 2013, put out their self-titled debut album in 2015 on Glory records, and followed that up with a 3 track EP on the same label in 2016.

The album Sonic Boomerang is their biggest statement yet as they took to TUP Studio in Brescia and hired producers Bruno Barcella and Alessio Lonati. They were snapped up by Dirty Water Records (USA) and Wild Honey Records for the release.

Mostly their acclaim outside Italy has come from within the US indie press and a trickling of UK press. They are far from hyped in Britain yet however. But we think a sea change is in tall order - could be triggered by their show at MENT - as the band are too good to be ignored.

Bee Bee Sea are Damiano Negrisoli (guitar, vocals), Giacomo Parisio (bass, vocals) and Andrea Onofrio (drums, vocals).
