Tomorrow night (16 October) Gigwise is taking over The Finsbury in North London as part of their annual #Blogtober event. In collaboration with Lost In The Manor, the night is headed up by Brighton’s finest Safe To Swim, with Leeds natives Loners and London-based newcomers Wooze also taking to the stage.

No strangers to the webpages of Gigwise already, we’ve been keeping a close eye on Safe To Swim for a while now. They made our 28 for 2018 list back in January, and when we premiered single ‘Boyfriend’, we said; “The four-piece have already honed their imitable strand of indie and are capable of crafting songs of anthemic proportions. ‘Boyfriend’ builds on the euphoria-laden pop-tinged morsels that we’ve already heard from the Brighton band this year.”

Showcasing shimmering synths that still packs a punch like all the best 80s pop bangers do, Loners are on the cusp of sonic superstardom. After doing the rounds in local venues around Leeds we’re excited to bring them down south to the capital.

“Musicians Theo Spark and Jamie She have concocted a captivating vehicle that shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon, all we can do is suggest you buckle up and get yourself ready for the ride.” That’s what we said when we saw the latest video from Wooze. The contagious ‘Party Without Ya’ is the second slice of music from the duo that has got us instantly enchanted and we can’t wait to see it come to life at The Finsbury.

Don’t hesitate, reserve your free tickets on Dice and we’ll see you there!
