Keith Richards Snorted His Own Father

He may have snorted bucket loads of cocaine and other narcotics, but Keith Richards has revealed the strangest item he has ever shoved up his hooter – his own father’s ashes.

The Rolling Stones guitarist made the macabre move after a drug fuelled bender, grinding up the ashes of Burt Richards from the urn and mixing it with cocaine.

He said: “The strangest thing I’ve ever tried to snort? My father. I snorted my father. He was cremated and I couldn’t resist grinding him up with a little bit of blow.

“My Dad wouldn’t have cared – he didn’t give a shit. It went down well, and I’m still alive.”

In the interview with the NME, Richards also told Pete Doherty to leave Kate Moss. Saying: “My advice for Pete Doherty is that he should shut the fuck up and leave her.

“I don’t know the man. All I know is he is pushing his luck and there it is.”

Richards also joked about him defying the doctors and living through all these years. He said: “Some doctor told me I had six months to live – and I went to his funeral.

“I was number one on the Who’s Likely To Die list for ten years. I was really disappointed when I fell off the list.”
