Snoop Dogg was arrested in Sweden in the early hours of Monday morning (March 12) for suspected drug use.
The rapper is currently on a joint European tour with fellow rapper Diddy and was travelling to Oslo when the arrest took place, promoter Atomic Agency confirmed to Reuters
Duty sergeant Mats Brannlund of Ostermalm police confirmed Snoop had been arrested, saying "He was arrested for use of narcotics. It's illegal in Sweden to use them, even to have it in your system,
"You can see that a person indicates that he has used narcotics in looking at his eyes or his movements. (Police) suspected that he had taken drugs."
Brannlund said that body samples have been taken from Snoop, with results due in two to three weeks time. If the tests confirm drug use, Snoop could face a means tested fine.
