It would be very easy to place Rosemary in amongst the bludgeoning current collection of British Rock bands but it could be offering them a disservice. If I had my way furiously comes out of your speakers as if it is trying to escape of its own will and lodge itself firmly in your temples. It quick it’s fast and martin Brett sings with a swagger and tone that lends itself perfectly to the frantic backdrop of this download only single.
The catchy chorus and the stuttering guitar riff that accompanies us through is more reminiscent of the arctic monkeys in feel, and like those Sheffield sapiens, they appear to have a maturity and ambition about their sound. It’s doubtful whether it will quite have the same impact, but if you like the current over quota of British rock then check it out, from this outing at least, they have promising times ahead.
