Jamie T has revealed that he’s recorded a song with Lily Allen, but its unlikely to see the light of day.
Mr T explains that the song was touted for release on his debut album ‘White Socks Black Shoes’, but unhappy with the production he decided to axe it.
He explains: "I asked Lily to sing on the track and she sounded fantastic - her voice is so pure. But the drum beat is awful so I've chosen not to use it on the album.
"I tried to reproduce it but ended up fucking it up. The drums were spilling all over the top of her vocals.
“We had about three or four working titles for the track but I don't think it will ever see the light of day now so it doesn't matter."
Asked by MTV whether he’d consider working with Lily again, he added: "Maybe. Although not for this album. But we've been friends for a while now so we'll see."
‘White Socks Black Shoes’ is released through Virgin on January 22. His new single ‘If You Got The Money’ is out this week.
