Liverpool club night The Bandwagon celebrated its third birthday this weekend with unplanned gigs in Sefton Park.
The 747’s, who played at the notorious night on Saturday (July 3), performed to around 70 people in the park, hooking up their instruments to generators, and handing out candles.
Members of The Zutons, The Basement, The Dead 60’s and The Bandits all joined in with the bands set which started in the early hours of yesterday morning at around 2am.
The gig is one of the first guerrilla appearances in the city in a craze that has seen London band The Others play on the tube, and Jane’s Addiction’s text fuelled flash mob gigs take over Covent Garden in the capital last summer.
