Corrine Bailey Rae and Beyonce Knowles dominated last night’s MOBO Awards, scooping five prizes between them.
Leeds lass Bailey Rae performed at the Royal Albert Hall bash walked away with the Best UK Female and Best UK Newcomer awards.
Beyonce scooped the Best International Female, plus Best Song and Best Video for ‘Déjà vu.’
Other winners on the night included Black Eyed Peas for Best Group, Jay-Z with Best International Male and Lemar with Best UK Male.
Sam Moore received the Lifetime Achievement Award and performed a duet with Keisha White on ‘I Can’t Stand The Rain.’ He later finished with the Sam and Dave classic ‘Soul Man.’
Ms Dynamite’s younger brother Akala took home the Best UK Hip-Hip Artist award, and said: "I didn't expect this. I know the album did really well but I was the least known in my category."
