Lollapalooza founder Perry Farrell has revealed that he is hoping to bring the cult US festival to the UK.

The travelling event which takes place in Chicago this coming weekend has always taken place in America but that could be a bout to change.

Farrell told the NME: "Muse are at the top of the list. I also love Kasabian...I'd love to get Arctic Monkeys. They're fantastic!"

Other acts he’d like to bring on board include David Bowie and Paul McCartney, however this isn’t the first Farrell has tried to bring the event to our shores, in 2004 he also said he hoped to host the festival here.

2006’s Lollapalooza is set to see performances from the likes of The Raconteurs and The Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Gigwise will be there, look out for our coverage next week.

Issue Four of the Gigwise Print magazine is on pre-order now! Order here.
