Primal Scream frontman Bobby Gillespie had a foul mouthed hissy fit after a bevy of celebs shunned his £7,000 DJ set.

The Scottish singer was spinning away for a Film Four party in Holland Park, London but only managed to attract an audience of five  – and one of those was Lulu.

Stars including Ewan McGregor, Damian Lewis and The OC babe Mischa Barton shunned the oppressive heat indoors in favour of luvvying-it-up outside – but Gillespie had little sympathy, branding them all “a bunch of f**king w**kers”.

At least fellow Scot Lulu cocked a snoop at her advancing years by coming on like an e’d-up raver to Gillespie’s efforts on the old one’s and two’s – although we are in no way suggesting the veteran singer had taken anything more than a stiff sherry, of course.

“I was jiving so hard I nearly broke my heels!” she babbled to The Daily Mirror.
