A man has been killed at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in America after he was hit by the tour bus of one of the acts.
The as yet unnamed man was hit by the bus of bluegrass artist Ricky Skaggs after he wandered onto a highway about a mile from the festival’s entrance.
Spokesperson for the Tennessee Department of Safety Melissa McDonald told Billboard that it was unknown if the man had been attending the event.
She added that it appeared he had jumped over a fence to reach the Interstate (24) though there was no indication of alcohol abuse from either the victim or bus driver.
The accident is still under investigation.
A man died at last year’s festival, which is attended by 70,000 people, from suspected Sleep Apnea.
