Exclusive: The Bandits To Split!

   Cosmic scousers The Bandits could be on the verge of splitting up.

According to a source close to the band, there's been a major fall out within the group and problems with their current record contract.   

The band's debut album, ‘...And They Walked Away’ was released last year but didn’t really do the business in the charts. 

The group, who recently played a hometown gig, have had several comments left on their website's forum that have reinforced the rumour:

“Yeah I went and it kinda re-inforced my thinking that maybe it is time that The Bandits split, they just don't seem to have it any more.”

“I know I've been a fan for a while and seen them loads but I reckon it is time they do split up. They just seem to have lost their edge and no longer interest me or seemed interested.”

Gary Bandit - who has recently played a solo acoustic spot -has denied the rumour to Gigwise "We are all rehearsing really hard at the moment, we have got loads of new material which is sounding boss. We are going to Japan with the Zutons late May which we are looking forward to. We have no plans to split."
