Pete Doherty has been charged for alleged possession of heroin and cocaine.
Police revealed today (January 10) that he was charged yesterday under the 1971 Misuse of Drugs Act for possession of Class A drugs.
Doherty was arrested on November 30 last year where he is alleged to have had the drugs on him.
He is due to appear before Ealing Magistrates Court tomorrow morning, possibly with a couple of thousand fans in tow.
Doherty read out the court papers while on stage at London’s Koko club last night and invited fans to come along to court with him.
