Kendrick Lamar has announced a UK arena tour and Dublin show for February 2018. Support comes from James Blake. Discover ticket information is below.

The UK and IRL leg kicks off in Dublin on 7 February then it's on to Birmingham’s Arena on 9 February, and Manchester’s Arena the following day. He hits up Glasgow’s SSE Hydro on 11 February before wrapping things up with two big shows at the O2 Arena in London on 12 and 13 February. The latter gigs we have tickets to here from 9am today (6 October).

Kendrick released his fourth album, DAMN., back in April to critical appraise, and next year's shows are the first time he's played the new record set in the UK. The US leg ran from July to September. The New York Times have praised how well the new album songs lend to arenas.

Thanks to DAMN. being his most accessible album, Lamar's popularity has soared this year. The video for ‘Humble’ has been viewed a mind-boggling 332,551,156 times. On top of that, he also has five of the top 50 most streamed songs of the year in the shape of ‘Humble’, ‘DNA’, ‘Love’ (featuring Zacari), ‘Loyalty’ featuring Rihanna and ‘Element’.

His previous LP, To Pimp A Butterfly, topped year-end lists all over the globe and tackled the timely issues of racial inequality and discrimination with tracks such as ‘Alright’, ‘King Kunta’ and ‘The Blacker The Berry’.

Support for all dates comes from Mercury Prize-winning producer James Blake who is a guest on Lamar's album and some new music written that we're likely to hear soon to foolow up his 2016 record, The Colour In Anything. Blake's live performance are arena worthy themselves so this double bill something truly worth seeing. Here's five things we want to see from the below arena shows.

Tickets go on sale at 9am, Friday, October 6. Buy tickets to the 02 here.
