Paris’s leading two-day festival, We Love Green, has announced the first of its 2017 line-up, with Tribe Called Quest, Solange, Nicolas Jaar and more on the bill.
Rival to Field Day in the UK, We Love Green brings together thousands of young Parisian’s every summer to enjoy music in the sunshine. Taking place in the beautiful Bois de Vincennes park, the festival takes place over two days, on the Saturday 10th June and Sunday 11th June 2017.
Bringing together a mix of French bands and international talent, this year’s bill includes music from A Tribe Called Quest, Solange, Nicolas Jaar, Anderson .Paak, Moderat, Action Bronson, Richie Hatwin, Flying Lotus, Seu Jorge, Camille, and Benjamin Clementine.
Headlining on Saturday, A Tribe Called Quest, will be playing material from across their career, and the recent critically-acclaimed We Got It From Here.. Thank You 4 Your Service. Solange takes the headline slot on Sunday.
Alongside music, there is lots of other entertainment on the bill. Alongside film screenings, Think Tank, a stage programming talks, there will be conferences and discussions from leading scientists, NGO bosses, and community activists.
The site has grown this year from six to ten hectares, and is one of very few festivals in the world that is powered 100% by renewable energy.
