London-based record label, PC Music have already teamed up with Carly Rae Jepsen this year as Danny L. Harle worked on 'Super Natural'. Now, in Tinashe's 'Superlove', Harle has added a second Super to complete the collection.
Known for their ironic takes on modern releases, PC Music have carved a niche, embracing the highly commercialised aesthetic that often dominates today's pop song. In Tinashe's 'Superlove', Harle and co. have certainly found perfect material, considering the star featured in a "Baewatch" (get it?) inspired video when the song dropped over the summer.
Taking the song on a slower build, Harle climaxes in a collection of euphoric electro sound squiggles that take the listener on a different journey before the drop turns from trance more towards dance floor. With Charli XCX, Carly Rae Jepsen and Tinashe in 2016, the world awaits Harle's next collaborative venture or victim in 2017.
