The Pet Shop Boys are back - revealing a huge new track, announcing their new album and details of an epic residency of gigs at London's Royal Opera House. Full dates and ticket details are below.

'Inner Sanctum' is a riveting journey of propulsive electro, the first track to be lifted from new album Super and the name of their upcoming run of London shows - site-specific live experience staged by long-term PSB designer Es Devlin and choreographer Lynne Page.

"It was fantastic to be back in the studio with Stuart Price continuing from where we left off with Electric and we're thrilled with the results," says the band in a statement. "It’s also very exciting to take electronic music into the Royal Opera House - such a grand and beautiful venue. These will be four very special nights for us and our only UK concerts this year."

Super will be released on 1 April, and preceded by the launch single 'The Pop Kids'.

The album track listing is:

Happiness
The Pop Kids
Twenty-something
Groovy
The dictator decides
Pazzo!
Inner sanctum
Undertow
Sad robot world
Say it to me
Burn
Into thin air
