More about: Glastonbury Festival
Tickets for coach and entry packages for Glastonbury 2016 went on sale last night (1 October) and sold out in just 20 minutes.
The 15,000 allocated coach package tickets sold out in record time, despite the fact that - as is usual with Glastonbury - there hasn't been a single line-up announcement yet.
The coach + ticket packages have now all been sold. Thanks to everyone who bought one.

If you didn't manage to get tickets, panic not - they go on general sale on Sunday (4 October). For tickets and information, visit here - as tickets are no longer available to purchase via telephone.
Meanwhile, organiser Michael Eavis has revealed that headliners have already been booked for the next two years - with the likes of Coldplay, Muse, Radiohead, Fleetwood Mac and Prince all among the rumours.
Tickets are scheduled to go on sale in October: For coach and ticket packages be sure to have battle-stations ready for 7pm on Thursday 1 October, while standard tickets will be available at 9am on Sunday 4 October. Expect the usual insane scramble. Our advice - get as many people and internet devices you can gather and invest your trust in some sort of deity.
The dates are set in stone from Wednesday 22 June until Sunday 26 June: Write that in your calendars and try to get some time off work. Failing that, you have 9 months to concoct the most flawless, airtight excuse of why you're not going to make it into the office; something along the lines of a rare, untreatable tropical fever will probably do the trick.
The headliners for 2016 and 2017 are already booked: According to festival founder, Michael Eavis, four out of the six headliners have performed at Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage before and two will be new to the position at Worthy Farm.
Foo Fighters are strongly rumoured to headline: As a result of Grohl's broken leg, the Foos had to pull out of headlining Glasto 2015. This was bitter-sweet, since it allowed for Florence to unleash her full potential as a headline superstar. Since Eavis is 'desperate' for the Foos to headline and everyone knows it'd be an amazing comeback, don't be surprised when they show up on the bill poster.
Speaking of rumours, Miley Cyrus is a name that's been fluttering around RE: Glasto headliners: "She's outrageous and there was interest in previous years" a source revealed. It's questionable how great the performance will be but it'd be totally worth it to see how angry the Glastonbury purists would get.
There are lots of other rumours: Include all the normal predictions of Prince, Bowie and Fleetwood Mac however there are whisperings of possibly AC/DC, Adele, Blur, Muse, Prince, Taylor Swift, Faithless and the aforementioned Cyrus.
Don't forget to register online if you want to buy tickets this year: To combat touting, Glastonbury have asked that you register your details online if you want to purchase tickets. You can do it online on their website at any point so be sure to log on and get all the form filling out the way so you're not left in the lurch when October comes around. If you've attended the festival before, your details should be stored from last time.
Finally, let's talk cash: The tickets tend to be jacked up 5 or 10 pounds every year, so following that pattern, Glasto 2016 should set you back about 225 pounds including booking fee. If that looks a bit steep, bare in mind that the memories will be priceless.
