If you're looking for a great way to kick off your summer, then why not head to one of the best metropolitan festivals in the UK and catch some of the best bands around, along with some of the most exciting up and coming bands? Liverpool Sound City may well be the festival for you.

Taking place across multiple stages at Liverpool's Bramley Moore Dock from 28 & 29 May, Sound City 2016 boasts headliners Catfish and the Bottlemen, The Coral, Leftfield, Circa Waves, Sleaford Mods, The Dandy Warhols, Young Fathers and many, many more.

As if that wasn't enough, there will also be a conference holding a range of fascinating talks and discussions - including keynote speeches from the likes of BBC Wales' Bethan Elfyn and Drowned In Sounds' Sean Adams.
