There's something special about the energy of Catfish + The Bottlemen that's captured the imagination of so many. It's probably that balance in making the ordinary seem extraordinary, by exploding kitchen sink melodrama onto such a grand scale of arena ready anthemics. They're a band that need to seen live to really capture their essence. 

But being such an arresting live band isn't easy. They've got great songs at their foundation, but what do they listen to while on the road to get them in the mood to blow the roof off these increasingly largely venues?

As their UK tour rolls in ahead of the release of their huge second album The Ride on 27 May, we asked the boys what they've been listening to on the bus and after soundcheck. It's refreshingly classy and eclectic mix, to say the least...
