Celebrate the 45th anniversary of The Beatle's iconic Abbey Road cover by watching a hilarious live stream of the grade two listed zebra crossing - as fans recreate the cover and annoy countless taxi and bus drivers.
Despite the passing of the years, thousands of fans and non-fans alike still continue to imitate the famous cover, nonchantly strolling across the black and white stripes despite the threat of moving vehicles and irate taxi drivers. Abbey Road provide this brilliant service via a 24 hour camera designed to let people tune into the tourist attraction whenever they want.
Highlights of our brief observations:
- A girl shouting at her mum for not taking a good enough picture (won't look good on Facebook)
- Some unnashamedly exaggerated arm swinging
- A guy on his own with a selfie stick
- A man in a neon pink jacket sketching the scene into a notepad
- Many furious taxi drivers
Previous viewers have confessed to seeing some very near collisions on the miraculously still-functioning crossing, as well as a man dressed in an inflatable submarine costume.
Kill some time and catch the live stream here.
