Sometimes a song needs just the tiniest nudge from being brilliant into the realms of amazingness - and that's exactly the situation with Unkle's remix of Band Of Skulls' 'Sweet Sour'.
The title track from the band's 2012 Top Twenty album, the original was a grunge-influenced slice of restrained, atmospheric Brit-rock. This new remix is anything but restrained.
Throwing dirty club beats behind the track, Unkle transform the track into a soaring indie-club anthem, finding energy in the track previously hidden in the original's melancholy production.
A noisy clash of music cultures, this new remix is a spectacular demonstration of a dark, gothic pop soundclash. Listen to the new remix exclusively on Gigwise below.
