Fresh from the success of their 2010 World Cup song 'Fabio Acapella', Dutch Uncles have returned to the field of football songs - this time teaming up with Jeremy from Everything Everything.
'Road To Roy' is a twisted art-pop run through the potted history of England's failure to progress any further than the semi-final stage of the European championships. So, more of a dampening of expectations than a roaring rally cry.
Incorporating everything from Gareth Southgate's penalty miss in 1996 to the appointment of new manager Roy Hodgson earlier this year, 'Road To Roy' is laced with heartbreak for any football fan set to drape a St. George's flag around their shoulders this Summer and scream at Wayne Rooney as if they could do any better.
Check out Dutch Uncles and Everything Everything's Euro 2012 song below, now.
