Melbourne indie-electro-pop enthusiasts Cut Copy start out on their headline UK tour this Wednesday and to celebrate Gigwise has teamed up with them to bring you some special prises.
Cut Copy’s debut album ‘Bright Like Neon Lights’ was released to widely garnered critical acclaim in May and sees them start where label mates The Avalanches left on ‘Since I Left You’.
Highly influenced by crux member’s Dan Whitford favourite bands in ELO, New Order and Depeche Mode Gigwise described ‘Bright Like Neon Lights’ as “cheery candyfloss electro-pop that owes a hell of a lot to French electronica pioneers such as Cassius and early Daft Punk.”
We have two tickets for every day of Cut Copy’s tour for you to win, the dates are:
Nottingham, Rock City – October 26
Manchester, Roadhouse – 27
Liverpool, Carling Academy – 28
London, ULU – 29
Brighton, Union – November 2
Glasgow, ABC – 4
All you have to do is answer this amazingly easy question:
What country are The Avalanches from?
1. New Zealand
2. Papua New Guinea
3. Australia
Please specify which gig you wish to attend.
