Gigwise and Strongbow have teamed up to offer lucky readers the chance to be at the Nokia Isle of Wight festival that is taking place between 10 and 12 of June. 

The line up for this festival is amazing, featuring the likes of Babyshambles, The Magic Numbers, The Subways, Faithless, Razorlight, Morissey, Roxy Music, REM and many more.

The Isle Of Wight festival began in the height of flower-power in 1968 and in 1969 saw the likes of Bob Dylan, Joe Cocker and the Moody Blues perform, It just kept on growing and in 1970 Jimi Hendrix and The Who performed attracting half a million festival goers.

The Strongbow Rooms have been in existence for 7 years with this being their first year at the Nokia Isle of Wight festival. Over the years The Strongbow Rooms have established themselves as a showcase of Europe’s finest DJ’s and live acts featuring renowned DJ’s and acts such as Arthur Baker, Mylo and Marshall Jefferson. Over the seven years, more than 1,240,000 revellers have streamed through the tent and danced for an amazing 826 hours!



The Strongbow Rooms this year will feature a carefully crafted line-up of the hippest DJ’s including, Rob da Bank, The Bees, Max Sedgley, Kid Carpet, Yousef, Mutiny, Radioslave and many many more…
