The ascendancy of James Chapman – aka Maps – over recent months is proof that good music doesn’t always need the help of a big personality to push it into the public domain. Whilst Chapman might be introverted, his new single, ‘Don’t Know Her Name,’ is anything but. A glorious slice of ulifting and in your face electronica – its more than suitable justification for his recent Mercury Music Prize nomination. ‘Don’t Know Her Name’ is released on July 30th, on Mute Records.
